Scholarships

Sitka Youth Football (SYF) provides registration fee scholarships to children who without this financial assistance would not be able to participate. Very generous partners in our community help fund our player scholarships. Limited funds are available in any given football season.

The SYF Scholarship Program provides opportunities to Sitka youth to participate in recreational team sports because of the physical, mental, and character-building benefits these activities provide. Scholarships are awarded in consideration of need, by application deadline.

2022 APPLICATION DEADLINE IS AUGUST 31st, 2022.

In an effort to assist as many players as possible, we are asking those families that can afford to utilize our option of payment installments rather than receiving a scholarship, please do so.

Tribal citizens may qualify for scholarship funding through the Sitka Tribe of Alaska.
